Dogs bred from Hoffenmiller Kennel
Before I retired from the State Police, I found a Alk von Osterburg Quell daughter that was producing work quality dogs on a regular basis. Fortunately, she became available and I was able to buy her. That dog, named Jewel, produced eight sons that were patrol dogs for law enforcement or worked as patrol and detector dogs at several hospitals in the Detroit area. Jewel is the matriarch of my kennel and she is complimented by the male anchor of my kennel, Polish Samova Risa (call name – Grim) who was imported from Slovakia by Phil and Cassandra Goulding. I am forever in their debt for them entrusting his care to me. Between Jewel, Grim, another female named Haska von der Damburgerschloss who came over from Belgium, a female named Kira who came from the Cimmerian Kennel/Chip Weiss, these dogs are responsible for everything in my kennel.
Recently I needed to add an outside stud to my bloodline. Ritter vom Windy Ridge is that dog. He is out of a dog named Rizi von der Tetiaroa. Rizi had Orthopedic Foundation for Animals certified excellent hips and normal elbows. Ritter has excellent drive and structure. I have several offspring from him held back for training.

Jewel
My best dog ever. Mom to eight sons that found jobs in Police K9 or Hospital K9 patrol and detector dogs. Her last two daughters were Ziri and Zara. Ziri went on to produce work dogs as well, so Jewel’s legacy lives on. The photos were taken late in her life and as...
